WELCOME TO ON THE RIGHT TRACK

Helping you and your furry companion get on track to a life full of smiles and wagging tails, using motivational, science-based dog training techniques. We are qualified to help our clients with a range of behaviors including reactivity, fearfulness, leash pulling, house soiling and general obedience. We also have a puppy socialization program available to assist you with raising a confident, well-mannered pup.

SERVING GRAND, SUMMIT & ROUTT COUNTIES

Living up in beautiful Gore Pass affords me the flexibility to serve Grand, Summit and Routt Counties. Private Sessions are available in Kremmling and Steamboat Springs. Group Classes are offered in Frisco.

Hours of Operation:

  • Kremmling: Monday to Sunday 10am – 6pm.
  • Steamboat Springs: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday
  • Group Classes are offered on Thursday evenings in Frisco

DON’T JUST TAKE OUR WORD FOR IT..

  • Nikki has helped us with our foster dog Bogey for the past couple of months. After being bounced around several homes he came to us with some disturbing behaviors such as lunging and nipping at people when out on our hikes. From the day Nikki started working with us, his trust in new people has improved (although there is still work left to do) and he has seemed much more relaxed and playfull around the home in general.

  • A big thanks for your training techniques! While on vacation Kona ran up to a Daschund and our friends aussie and he merely sniffed them. So glad he didnt act out aggressively and no doubt he would of before your help with him. We'll be in touch if the need arises!

  • After the town of Frisco stopped offering group dog classes, there was a big void in Summit County for quality group dog classes. I could find personal dog trainers, but good group dog training classes for dogs of all ages was sorely lacking. I was so excited to to find out from the Town of Frisco, that "On The Right Track", offered group classes. We tried one of Nikki's classes and we have gone back for more. Our puppy and I, have learned so much. She walks nicely on a leash now, recall has improved greatly, and her whole nature is calmer.

  • I cant speak more highly about Nikki! We had her do some private lessons and also did the Canine Good Citizens class with our shy puppy. She has been helping us build our pups confidence. So far, it has worked wonderfully. You can tell Nikki loves what she does, and worked hard to help us achieve our goals with our little Abbey girl! 🙂 Thank you Nikki!

  • Nikki is a wonderful trainer. She has a great handle on animal behavior, and can help owners with specific issues that some of our pets struggle with. She saw how anxious my GSD was, and helped work with me in a group setting, to get him more comfortable with people and other dogs.
